MOTABILITY SUMMER EVENT
Chorley Group have arranged a special summer event for 80 lucky people. The event is to take place at The Imperial Hotel, in Blackpool, on Thursday June 28th 2008.
The event starts with a friendly informal afternoon tea in the Churchill Lounge,of the Imperial Hotel in the afternoon, where you will meet the hosts for the evening.
Evening activities includes meal and refreshments, prizes, entertainment and a promise of a fun evening for all. The event includes overnight accommodation, plus breakfast for all guests. The next morning we will have a ride and drive event, in an assortment of vehicles, along Blackpool promenade to Lytham.
Refreshments will be served mid morning on the Friday. The first 40 couples drawn from our entries will be offerred places to this truely memeriable event. To enter please email MOTABILITY EVENT, supplying your contact name, address and telephone number. The draw will take place on June 1st. This event is open to anyone who recieves the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Allowance. or WPMS

To qualify* for Motability you must be recieving one of the following benefits:

Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance. ( HRMC-DLA )

You don't have to be the driver, you can nominate a third party to be your driver. Please ask our motability specialist for advice.
Choosing the right scheme for you.
You have a choice of two different schemes:
Motability Contract Hire.
Contract hire is probably the easiest and most straighforward way to join the scheme. The scheme offers the following benefits:
- A brand new car of your choice every 3 years.
- Includes full insurance
- Includes Road Fund Licence ( Road Tax ) a new licence will be sent to you each year when due.
- Covers the cost of servicing, maintenance and repairs
- 3 years RAC assistance
- 60,000 mile allowance over the 3 year period.
- Nil initia rental on selected vehicles
- Free tyres fitted by Kwik-Fit.
Some vehicles do require an initial rental depending on which vehicle you choose. You assign your allowance over to motability, and they will use some or all of your allowance for the vehicle.
Motability Hire Purchase
This is ideal if you wish to keep your vehicle and not change it every 3 years, or expect to do higher mileage.
- You will own the vehicle at the end of the contract
- Any expensive adaptations that you require can stay on the vehicle.
- Unlimited mileage
- No deposit required on selected vehicles
Just like owning any car you are responsible for maintaining, taxing and insuring the vehicle if you use motability hire purchase.

Suitability
Some cars may be suited to your particular requirements more than others. Cars vary considerably in measurements; seat height, door opening angle and storage space for wheelchairs and equipment can all make the difference between a car that is suitable and a car that is neither enjoyable nor comfortable to drive. Many of our customers choose automatic transmission - speak to our specialist to arrange a test drive and find out more about the various transmission options available.
Insurance
As is common with many insurance policies, if yourself or any of your proposed drivers are aged under 25 (or if you add drivers aged under 25 during your three year agreement), restrictions and higher excesses are applied. Drivers under 25 are restricted to which vehicle they can drive. Insurance is included on all Contract Hire agreements. Please ask our motability specailist for more details.
